Purpose:

The purpose of the Program is to provide funding to Victim Witness Assistance Centers (Centers) so the Centers can hire or dedicate at least one half-time advocate who will provide comprehensive services to victims/survivors of human trafficking. Human trafficking victims/survivors include sex and labor trafficking.

Eligibility Requirements

Eligible Applicants:

  • Nonprofit
  • Other Legal Entity
  • Public Agency
  • Tribal Government

Applicants must be a county Victim Witness Assistance Center currently funded through the Cal OES Victim Witness Assistance (VW) Program, and must have an existing partnership, collaboration, or coordination of services with an anti-human trafficking working group within the county and/or service area(s).
