Purpose:

The California State Library seeks to procure expertise in the continued development and execution of the High-Speed Broadband for California Libraries program. 

The resulting award is intended to support the administrative efforts associated with programmatic administration as detailed below. 

Description:

The Broadband Access Aggregator will act as aggregator for California public libraries connected, or seeking to connect, to the CENIC/CalREN network, and when necessary, provide consulting, project planning, implementation, and evaluation services.   The Aggregator shall report to the State Library and work in partnership with the Library’s Broadband Program Team. Collaboration with the California State Library, CENIC, and other Aggregators will be a fundamental requirement to ensure the implementation’s success.
