Purpose:

The program will provide capacity building grants to Resource Conservation Districts.

Description:

Financial Assistance Program funding will help RCDs become more relevant, excellent, and visible by building capacity. Capacity building is an investment in the effectiveness and future sustainability of an organization. While this funding is an initial investment in RCD capacity, the growth, effectiveness and sustainability of an RCD is ultimately the responsibility of the organization.

Eligibility Requirements

Eligible Applicants:

Resource Conservation Districts that are able to comply with CA Public Resources Code Section 9084 requirements.

Eligible Geographies:

State of CA

Matching Funding Requirement:

25% of which 40% must be in cash.
