Purpose:
Provide boating safety education to the general public.
Description:
These grants are available to organizations that offer on-the-water boating safety education courses. Courses offered should be designed to enhance boater knowledge of boating laws, practical handling of vessels on the water, weather and water conditions, rules of the road, and equipment requirements.

Eligible Applicants:
- Nonprofit
- Public Agency
Local public agencies, nonprofit organizations, and colleges and universities operating within California.
Eligible Geographies:
Waterways within California
