Purpose:
The Fertilizer Research and Education Program (FREP) funds and facilitates research and education to advance the environmentally safe and agronomically sound use and handling of fertilizing materials. FREP serves growers, agricultural supply and service professionals, extension personnel, public agencies, consultants, and other interested parties.

Eligibility Requirements
Eligible Applicants:
- Business
- Individual
- Nonprofit
- Public Agency
- Tribal Government
Pre-proposals may originate from outside of California, but all work must be relevant toCalifornia agriculture. FREP does not support proprietary product development, testingor promotions.
Preproposals must focus on at least one of the priority areas listed on the request for proposals document:
