Purpose:
Priorities for this funding include construction of wildlife overcrossings and undercrossings, restoration of natural habitats that provide a visual screen in wildlife corridors, and removal of instream impediments to fish passage.
Description:
The Wildlife Conservation Board's 2020 Public Solicitation Notice (PSN) for Wildlife Corridor and Fish Passage Projects. Proposed projects may be planning or implementation projects to construct, repair, modify, or remove transportation infrastructure or water resources infrastructure improving passage for wildlife or fish. PSN priorities include construction of wildlife overcrossings and undercrossings, restoration or enhancement of natural habitats that provide a visual screen in wildlife corridors, removal of instream impediments to fish passage, and installation of measures that allow migratory fish to go under, around or over passage barriers.
