Purpose:

The purpose of the Forest Health Watershed Coordinator Grants is to fund watershed coordinator that support collaborative watershed improvement efforts to restore forest health and resilience.

Description:

The principal goal of the Watershed Coordinator Program is to improve watershed health by providing support for local, collaborative watershed improvement efforts. The Forest Health Watershed Coordinator Grant Program aims to restore health and resilience to forests at the watershed scale for multiple benefits, including water quality.

Eligibility Requirements

Eligible Applicants:

  • Public Agency

The program is not open to federal or state agencies. The applicant’s proposal must be located within one of the watershed coordinator zones and must demonstrate collaboration with relevant federal, state, and local agencies, as well as other stakeholder groups.

Match is encouraged but not required.
