Details
Purpose:
The California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS), in partnership with The Center at Sierra Health Foundation, has $12 million in funding available to support prevention and education activities. Organizations may apply for up to $250,000 to support programs addressing opioid use, stimulant use and polysubstance use in communities of color.
Description:
Awarded funds will support community awareness, outreach and education around opioids and
stimulants, as well as polysubstance use, and strengthen referral pathways to care and treatment
services, including MAT, in Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) communities across the state.
