Eligibility Requirements

Eligible Applicants:

Organizations that meet the following criteria are eligible to apply for this opportunity:

Applicants must be an institution of higher education and must have a valid SAM registration and UEI to receive an award.
Be the legal applicant of a current California Volunteers College Corps program that has been approved to operate through 2026.
Demonstrate capacity to expand 2025-26 cohort by a minimum of 5 slots and a maximum of 20 slots.

Available Funding Notes:

Funds associated with this RFA may not be used for Fellow costs (i.e. livingallowance) as these slots are Education Award Only slots. Applicants may submit requests for administrative costs at a maximum of $4,000 per Fellow. Each applicant’s funding request to support program administration is determined by multiplyingthe number of Fellows by $4,000 per Fellow (example: 10 Fellows X $4,000 = $40,000).
